What KSM-66 standardisation means
KSM-66 is a specific, branded ashwagandha root extract produced using a full-spectrum extraction process rather than a solvent-heavy method that isolates a single compound. Standardisation to 5% withanolides means that every batch is tested to confirm the extract contains withanolides — the naturally occurring compounds found in ashwagandha root — at a consistent concentration of 5%, rather than the variable levels found in less controlled raw ashwagandha powder. This consistency is the reason we chose this specific extract for our formula: it allows every capsule in every pack to contain a comparable, measured amount of the standardised extract, batch after batch.
Rhodiola rosea root extract in our formula is standardised to 3% rosavins, one of the marker compound groups used to characterise rhodiola extracts commercially. As with ashwagandha, we do not make a health claim about rhodiola, since no such claim is currently authorised under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law — we describe it here factually, as an ingredient present in the formula at a stated amount.

L-Theanine
An amino acid derived from green tea extract, included at 200 mg per capsule as part of the overall daily formula.
Magnesium Glycinate
A well-absorbed form of magnesium providing 200 mg per capsule (53% NRV), which contributes to normal muscle function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Capsule format and pack details
- 60 vegetarian capsules per pack, using an HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) capsule shell rather than gelatine.
- Gluten-free formulation with no added sugar.
- One capsule constitutes the full recommended daily dose — do not exceed this amount.
- Each pack represents approximately a two-month supply at the recommended dose.
- Capsules should be stored in their original container, tightly closed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
