*NRV = Nutrient Reference Value as established by EU Regulation (EC) No 1169/2011 as retained in UK law. Daily dose = 1 capsule. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Nutrient function claims are made in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law and refer to the individual nutrients listed, not to Ashwagandha KSM-66 as a whole. This product is a food supplement, not a medicine.

What KSM-66 standardisation means

KSM-66 is a specific, branded ashwagandha root extract produced using a full-spectrum extraction process rather than a solvent-heavy method that isolates a single compound. Standardisation to 5% withanolides means that every batch is tested to confirm the extract contains withanolides — the naturally occurring compounds found in ashwagandha root — at a consistent concentration of 5%, rather than the variable levels found in less controlled raw ashwagandha powder. This consistency is the reason we chose this specific extract for our formula: it allows every capsule in every pack to contain a comparable, measured amount of the standardised extract, batch after batch.

Rhodiola rosea root extract in our formula is standardised to 3% rosavins, one of the marker compound groups used to characterise rhodiola extracts commercially. As with ashwagandha, we do not make a health claim about rhodiola, since no such claim is currently authorised under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law — we describe it here factually, as an ingredient present in the formula at a stated amount.

Ingredient by ingredient

Ashwagandha (KSM-66®)

Root extract included as part of the Ashwagandha KSM-66 daily capsule at 600 mg per capsule, standardised to 5% withanolides. Described here as an ingredient only.

L-Theanine

An amino acid derived from green tea extract, included at 200 mg per capsule as part of the overall daily formula.

Magnesium Glycinate

A well-absorbed form of magnesium providing 200 mg per capsule (53% NRV), which contributes to normal muscle function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Capsule format and pack details

We list the complete ingredient panel on every pack label as well as on this page, so the information you see before ordering matches exactly what is printed on the product you receive. If any detail on the physical label were ever to differ from this page due to a labelling update, the physical pack label takes precedence, and we would update this page promptly to match.

Sourcing and quality control

Our formula is manufactured to food supplement standards applicable in the United Kingdom, with each ingredient supplied by specialist extract manufacturers rather than produced in-house. The KSM-66 ashwagandha extract used in our formula is sourced from its branded manufacturer under standard supply agreements, and incoming batches are checked against the stated withanolide standardisation before being used in production. This approach reflects our broader preference, described on our About page, for describing our sourcing and standardisation methods plainly rather than relying on vague quality language without substance behind it.

  1. Raw extract batches are supplied with manufacturer documentation confirming standardisation.
  2. Capsule filling and packing take place at a food-supplement-grade facility.
  3. Finished packs carry a batch reference and best-before date printed on the container.
  4. Any customer report of a labelling or packaging discrepancy is investigated and, where necessary, escalated to the supplier.
"We would rather explain exactly what standardisation means and why it matters than simply print a percentage on the box and hope customers trust it." — Remvola Product Team
