Legal Notice
This Legal Notice identifies the operator of remvola.world and sets out the regulatory, corporate and data protection information that United Kingdom law requires us to make available to customers. It is published by Remvola Wellness Ltd ("Remvola", "we", "us" or "our"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Because operating this website necessarily involves processing personal information, this notice also explains, in the numbered sections below, what data is involved in the corporate and regulatory relationship between us, the legal basis for that processing, retention periods, your rights, named third parties, cookies, international transfers, and our complaints procedure, before closing with a dated change log.
1. Scope of this notice
This notice applies to remvola.world in its entirety and to any correspondence sent to our registered office or published contact channels. It is provided to satisfy transparency obligations under the Companies Act 2006, the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, and UK data protection law. It should be read alongside our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Delivery Policy and Returns Policy, each of which addresses a specific aspect of the relationship between Remvola and its customers in more detail than this page.
2. Company identity
Remvola Wellness Ltd is registered with Companies House for England and Wales under Company No. 16874256. Our registered office and principal place of business is 65 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 2BY. We are the data controller for personal information processed through remvola.world, as described more fully in our Privacy Policy, and we are the seller of record for every order confirmed through our pay-on-delivery process.
3. VAT and financial registration
Our VAT registration number is GB 869 7542 53. Prices displayed on remvola.world are shown in pounds sterling (£) and, where applicable, are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing UK rate. Financial and order records are retained for six years from the end of the relevant financial year, in accordance with our obligations to HM Revenue & Customs and as set out in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
4. Legal basis for information referenced in this notice
Corporate and regulatory information published on this page, such as our company number and VAT registration, is published to meet statutory transparency obligations rather than as a matter of choice, and does not itself involve processing your personal data. Where this notice references data protection matters, such as retention periods or your rights, the applicable legal basis is the same as that described in our Privacy Policy: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, your consent for optional cookies, and compliance with legal obligations such as those owed to Companies House and HMRC.
5. Retention of regulatory and corporate records
Statutory company records, including those relating to VAT and corporation tax, are retained for a minimum of six years as required by HMRC, and certain company registers are retained for the life of the company and, in some cases, for a period afterwards as required by the Companies Act 2006. Correspondence sent to our registered office concerning a regulatory or legal matter is retained for six years from the date it is resolved, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Your rights
Where this notice touches on the processing of personal data, you retain the same rights described in full in our Privacy Policy, including the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your data, and the right to object to certain processing. You may exercise these rights, or ask a question about our corporate or regulatory status, by emailing [email protected] or calling +44 161 399 4809, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:30. We aim to acknowledge a request within five working days and to resolve it within one calendar month.
7. Named third parties and regulatory bodies
Remvola Wellness Ltd is registered with Companies House, Crown Way, Cardiff, CF14 3UZ, and is registered for VAT with HM Revenue & Customs. Food supplements sold through this website fall within the regulatory remit of the Food Standards Agency (FSA), and data protection matters are overseen by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113. None of these bodies is a processor of your personal data on our behalf; they are independent public authorities named here for transparency.
8. Cookies referenced in this notice
This page itself sets no cookie beyond the site-wide necessary cookies described fully in our Cookie Policy, namely rv_session, which expires when you close your browser, and rv_consent, which remembers your cookie-banner choice for 180 days. No cookie on this page is used for any regulatory or compliance monitoring purpose.
9. International transfers
Information referenced in connection with this notice, such as correspondence sent to our registered office, is processed and stored within the United Kingdom. Where any related service provider stores infrastructure outside the UK or EEA, that transfer takes place under protections recognised by UK data protection law, consistent with the approach described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Complaints and escalation
If you have a complaint about our corporate conduct, regulatory compliance, or the information published on this page, please contact us first at [email protected] or +44 161 399 4809, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:30. We will acknowledge a complaint within five working days and aim to provide a substantive response within one calendar month. Complaints about data protection may be referred to the Information Commissioner's Office, and complaints about our regulatory status as a food business may be referred to the Food Standards Agency or to the environmental health service of the relevant local authority.
11. Product classification
Ashwagandha KSM-66 is classified as a food supplement under UK food law and Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law. It is not a medicinal product, is not subject to medicines regulation, and is not evaluated by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. This classification determines the labelling, marketing and safety framework that applies to the product and is the basis for the claim language used elsewhere on this site.
12. Regulatory authorities
Food supplements in the United Kingdom are regulated by the Food Standards Agency (FSA), which is responsible for food safety and standards policy, working alongside local authority environmental health and trading standards teams that carry out day-to-day enforcement. Data protection matters are overseen by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF. Consumer protection more broadly is supported by the Competition and Markets Authority and by Citizens Advice, which operates a consumer helpline for general guidance.
13. Hosting and technical provider information
remvola.world is hosted on infrastructure provided by a third-party web hosting company operating data centres within the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Enquiries about the website's technical operation, rather than about an order or a data protection matter, should still be directed to [email protected], and we will forward or action the query internally as appropriate; we do not publish the hosting provider's own contact details, since they support us rather than dealing directly with customers.
