Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Remvola Wellness Ltd ("Remvola", "we", "us" or "our"), of 65 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 2BY, uses cookies and similar storage technologies on remvola.world, why we use them, how long each one lasts, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains the wider handling of personal data. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website; they cannot access your files or run programs, but they can remember choices you have made or record how a site is used. This page is organised into numbered sections and closes with a table listing every cookie by name and a dated change log.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers cookies and comparable technologies, such as local storage, that are set by remvola.world itself and, where applicable, by the limited number of third parties described below. It does not cover cookies that may be set by unrelated websites you reach through outbound links from our site, nor cookies set on courier tracking pages once you leave our domain to check a delivery status. If you disable cookies entirely in your browser, most of the site will continue to function, but the order form and regional delivery table may behave less smoothly.
2. What information cookies collect
Necessary cookies collect only technical information needed to keep pages working correctly, such as a random session identifier and your cookie-consent choice; they do not record your name or contact details. Optional analytics cookies, used only if you consent, collect information such as which pages were viewed, how long you stayed, your approximate region inferred from your IP address, and the type of device and browser you used. We do not use cookies to build an individually identifiable advertising profile, and we do not currently run third-party advertising cookies on this site.
3. Legal basis for using cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are used under the exemption in Regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the site could not function correctly without them, so no consent banner choice is required for these specific cookies. All optional cookies, including analytics cookies, are placed only after you have given clear consent through the cookie banner, in line with Regulation 6 PECR and the consent standard under UK GDPR. You may withdraw that consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the cookie controls described in section 5 below.
4. Retention periods for each cookie
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| rv_session | Necessary | Maintains your session, supports the order form and navigation | Ends when browser closes |
| rv_consent | Necessary / preference | Remembers your cookie banner choice so it is not repeated | 180 days |
| rv_analytics_id | Analytics (optional) | Distinguishes returning visitors for aggregated reporting | Up to 13 months |
| rv_analytics_evt | Analytics (optional) | Supports event-level usage reporting, reviewed and purged | Up to 26 months |
These are the only cookies currently set by remvola.world. We do not use marketing or cross-site advertising cookies at this time.
5. Your rights and how to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit to accept all optional cookies, reject them, or open cookie settings to choose category by category.
- You can change your mind at any time; where a cookie preference control is available on this page or in your browser, use it to withdraw consent, and clearing your browser cookies will also reset your choice.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings menu; instructions vary by browser and are usually found under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data".
- Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the order form or delivery table from working correctly, since these cookies are essential to core site functions.
6. Third parties who may set cookies
Where you consent to analytics cookies, a cookie-based analytics service provider processes the resulting data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement, purely to produce aggregated usage reports; it is not permitted to use the data for its own marketing. Our website hosting provider may, separately, log basic technical request information as part of normal server operation, which is described in our Privacy Policy rather than in this cookie table, since it does not rely on a stored cookie. We do not currently permit any advertising network, social media plug-in, or marketing pixel to set cookies on remvola.world.
7. Cookies used elsewhere on the site
The cookies listed in the table above apply uniformly across every page of remvola.world, including the homepage order form, the ingredients and delivery pages, and this policy itself; no page sets an additional cookie beyond those four. If this changes in the future, for example if we introduce a new feature that requires an additional cookie, we will update the table in section 4 and the change log in section 10 before that cookie is deployed, and we will refresh the consent banner so you can make a fresh choice.
8. International data transfers relating to cookies
Cookie data collected through remvola.world is processed by service providers operating primarily within the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where an analytics processor stores aggregated data outside the UK or EEA, that transfer is subject to protections recognised under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or a UK International Data Transfer Agreement. No cookie data is sold or transferred to a third party for its own independent use.
9. Questions or complaints about cookies
If you have a question about a specific cookie, or believe a cookie has been set without appropriate consent, please contact us at [email protected] or +44 161 399 4809, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:30. We will acknowledge a cookie-related query within five working days. If you remain concerned after contacting us, you may also raise the matter with the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113, which is the UK supervisory authority for cookie and data protection compliance.
10. Change log for this policy
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| 15 January 2026 | First published version of this Cookie Policy at site launch. |
| 3 April 2026 | Added named cookie identifiers and exact lifespans to the cookie table. |
| 11 August 2026 | Clarified legal basis, third parties and complaints procedure. |
11. Browser-level and device controls
Beyond our own cookie banner, most modern browsers allow you to view, delete or block individual cookies, clear all cookies on exit, or browse in a private or incognito mode that discards cookies once the session ends. Mobile devices often provide similar controls within their privacy settings, sometimes described as "tracking prevention" or "app tracking transparency". These browser-level controls operate independently of our own consent banner, so a choice made in your browser settings will generally override a cookie category even if you previously accepted it through our banner.
12. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal that requests websites not to track a visitor's browsing activity. There is currently no universally adopted technical standard governing how websites should respond to this signal, and remvola.world does not automatically alter its behaviour based on a Do Not Track header; instead, we rely on the explicit consent choices you make through our cookie banner, which we treat as the definitive record of your preference regardless of any browser-level signal.
